The Beet Retreat, one of the advertising industry’s most talked about gatherings of high-level media executives, will take place at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California from November 4-6, 2026.
Beet.TV’s LA Retreat presents an opportune time for the leading minds in media to address the rapidly changing advertising space and to share what’s new and next.
Programming will officially kick off Wednesday, November 4 at 4 p.m. and conclude Friday, November 6 at noon. We will host a reception on Tuesday, November 3, as well as our annual golf outing and other leisure activities on Wednesday for those who plan to arrive early.
The Retreat will feature a mixture of off-the-record fireside chats, curated panels, and breakout discussions seeded by questions from both speakers and attendees.
Beet Retreat LA will explore how brands, agencies, publishers, and technology companies are adapting to a marketplace increasingly defined by converged TV, commerce media, creators, first-party data, and AI-powered decision-making.
Topics will include:
Measurement, Contextual & Outcomes
- How AI is transforming measurement, attribution, incrementality, and marketing decision-making that move beyond increasingly obsolete media metrics to quantifiable business outcomes.
- How contextual signals, brand-safe environments, and first-party content strategies are replacing third-party data dependencies while maintaining targeting precision and campaign effectiveness.
- The evolution from traditional KPIs to accountable frameworks bolstered by new approaches to optimization, forecasting, and ROI demonstration.
Streaming TV & Premium Audience Engagement
- How publishers are delivering relevant, personalized content experiences to consumers that connect engagement to clear business outcomes
- The evolution of the CTV ad experience: balancing consumer experience, monetization, and advertiser results in an increasingly competitive market.
Commerce Media & Growth
- The convergence of retail media, commerce, CTV, and vertical industry media networks into full-funnel growth engines.
- How agentic buying, first-party data, and commerce signals are reshaping customer acquisition, media investment, and competitive positioning.
Content, Creators & Discovery
- How creators, AI-generated content, and emerging discovery platforms are reshaping the way brands spur discovery, build trust, and establish durable audience relationships in a permanently fragmented landscape.
- The strategic importance of SEO, GEO/AIO (Generative Engine Optimization/AI Optimization), and content strategies designed for both consumer audiences and AI agents.

Streaming TV, social video, creators and commerce are increasingly colliding, challenging the traditional lines that have defined media investment. This session will explore how agency leaders are rethinking where dollars flow as audiences move across platforms and discovery, engagement and purchase become more connected. The conversation will examine what convergence means for planning, partnerships, measurement and the future of media investment.
Britt Travis, SVP, Investment, Publicis Collective
Stacy DeRiso, GM, Omnicom Media
Lou Paskalis, CEO, AJL Partners
Automakers have access to more signals across media, shopping and ownership than ever before—but turning that intelligence into growth remains the challenge. This conversation will explore how AI and first-party data are helping marketers better understand intent, optimize media and connect engagement to vehicle sales. The discussion will look at what it takes to turn a complex customer journey into measurable business outcomes.
As AI moves deeper into creative, media and data, agencies are being pushed to reimagine both their workflows and their value proposition. Digital marketers and agency leaders will explore how AI is accelerating the path from insight to creation, activation and optimization, and what it takes to rebuild the content supply chain around that speed rather than layering AI onto legacy processes. The conversation will look ahead to where agencies differentiate when AI powers more of the execution, making creativity, strategy and human judgment even more critical.
Denise Colella, VP, Global Digital Strategy Group, Adobe
As performance-focused brands pour budget into CTV alongside endemic streamers, the channel is under pressure to prove itself with the same rigor as lower-funnel digital media. This panel brings together the supply-side data leaders, measurement innovators, and buyers driving CTV’s shift from impression delivery to outcomes accountability: predictive optimization, incrementality proof, and extending measurable reach beyond owned-and-operated inventory. This session will dig into what’s actually working, where attribution still breaks down, and what buyers should demand from supply partners in 2027 planning.
Grant Cohen, GM, Atlas Performance, Kochava
Julian Zilberbrand, Global Head of Data Solutions, LG Ad Solutions
Social platforms have trained consumers to move seamlessly from discovery to purchase. Now streaming is beginning to close that same gap, as shoppable formats, creators and commerce data bring transactions closer to premium video. This breakout will explore what streaming can learn from social commerce—and what it will take to turn the biggest screen in the home into a true commerce channel.
Creator marketing is moving from experimental budgets to a more integrated part of the media mix. This breakout will explore how agencies are evaluating, buying and measuring creator-led media alongside traditional channels—and what needs to change for creator investment to scale. The discussion will examine everything from audience and brand fit to measurement, standardization and outcomes.
