The Beet Retreat, one of advertising’s premiere executive gatherings for the vanguards of media, returns to the Troutbeck Estate Resort July 20-22, 2025.
The immersive three-day retreat will feature intimate, high-level conversations on the rapidly changing advertising landscape in a relaxing, countryside setting that encourages the sharing of business intelligence and the forging of new professional relationships.
Topics for discussion will include the future of streaming and video, the surge of retail and commerce media, and the role of AI and its influence on data, measurement, personalization, performance, and more.

The Hotchkiss Golf Course, designed in 1924 by prominent golf course architect Seth Raynor, circles the campus of the school, offering incredible views of Lake Wononscopomuc and the surrounding Berkshire-Taconic mountains. At just over 3,000 yards and a par of 35, the nine-hole course provides challenging play.

Difficulty level: Moderate
Elevation Gain: 515 feet
The preserve lies on the southern reach of Indian Mountain, and combines acres of high-value farmland with a protected corridor to the highest elevations on Indian Mountain. Spanning 107 acres, it features a loop trail that climbs to an elevation of 1,065 ft. Three separate viewpoints can be found along the trail—Sharon Valley, Millerton Valley, and Mudge Pond—each one featuring a bench on which to take in some of the most spectacular views in this area of Sharon. Between them lies a highly intact forest that offers habitat for a multitude of interior forest birds such as the scarlet tanager, Eastern wood pewee, and many species of woodland warblers.

Orvis Sandanona in the village of Millbrook, is iconic in the region as the oldest permitted shooting preserve in the United States. The main clubhouse was built during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson, and the four-hundred-acre property has been host to a parade of discerning wingshooters ever since. The main event programming will take place at Troutbeck in Amenia, NY. We have special group rates at Troutbeck, The Sharon Country Inn, and Interlaken Inn as part of the Retreat and where shuttles will be offered for evening functions, and to/from Troutbeck only.
