The Beet Retreat, one of the industry’s most talked about gatherings of high-level media executives, will take place in the southern Berkshires town of Salisbury, Connecticut, hosted at the historic White Hart Inn from July 16-18, 2023.


The group is limited to 75 attendees. The attendees and speakers will be carefully curated and vetted. It will be by invitation only. The registration fee is $3,500.

The Content Focus

This unique leadership summit will explore the future of advanced television advertising in topics including consumer experience, monetization strategies, targeting/addressability, and the changing demands for marketers around performance.


Participants will include senior TV programmers, platform execs, tech providers, brand
marketers and media buyers. The sessions will be recorded and published on Beet.TV and speakers will be interviewed at the Villa studio.


Hosting the event and curating the program is research analyst and frequent Beet.TV
contributor Joanna O’Connell, and former Wall Street Journal reporter and Beet.TV contributor Mike Shields.


The program will take place at the specular Beet.TV Villa, a 10-minute drive from the Croisette.


The program will consist of four, 90-minute tracks which include networking, a featured fireside chat, panel discussion and an interactive segment with the audience. The day will end with a networking reception.

The White Hart Inn and a selection of other inns within 15 minutes of the White Hart have been held with a special group rate for your accommodation needs.


Salisbury is approximately a 2-hour drive from Manhattan. Beet.TV will provide chartered van service from Manhattan to Salisbury on Sunday and Monday morning and return on Tuesday afternoon.
It is also reachable via Metro North. Grand Central to Wassaic, NY is a two-hour ride. The Wassaic train station is a 25-minute drive from The White Hart.


The nearest major airport is Bradley/Hartford, a 75-minute drive away.
